About the Role

​

  1. Provide domain expertise in Windows Server services including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, DC replication, DC promote & demote, Group policies etc. Apply networking switching and routing knowledge- TCP/IP, Inter VLAN static & dynamic routing.

  2. Analyse the current state of IT infrastructure, service operation and solution within the business, so as propose and introduce modifications to meet immediate and long- term organizational needs.

  3. Design, analysis, evaluation, testing and implementation of VMware infrastructure running windows servers. Perform troubleshooting, resolution and problem analysis and monitor alerting systems and servers.

  4. Manage a team of application support engineers to optimize overall team efficiency, in ensuring smooth daily operations. Maintain and track assigned problem tickets to issue resolution and provide appropriate reporting to management and team as required. Assist in the research of tools and processes to support problem resolution and ongoing operations. Provide analysis and reports as needed detailing possible areas of improvement in key areas of support and continuity of operations.

  5. Prioritize and ensure execution of all operational support activities relating to lab and classroom deployed technology and support staff in desktop support in accordance with IT department strategic plan. KPI and ongoing operational needs.

Requirements

  • Degree/Diploma in Information Technology/ Computer Science

  • 3-5 years of experience in IT operational support

  • 1 year of team lead experience

  • Experience in Cloud AWS, network domain & infrastructure

  • Windows & Linux Administration

  • VMware Administration

  • Networking Knowledge
